NOW: Ex-Israeli PM Ariel Sharon’s health has deteriorated further; in ‘grave’ condition… Family says

Sharon is surrounded by his sons Omri and Gilad, a source close to the Sharon family said. “Unfortunately, they understand that this is the end, these are Arik’s last days or even hours. It is hard. Eight years we have evaded this moment and now it is upon us, there is no escaping it.”

The health of former Israeli premier Ariel Sharon has worsened over the past hours, hospital officials said on Thursday, describing him as being in “extremely critical” condition.

“Over the past hours, there has been a worsening of the condition of former prime minister Ariel Sharon. His condition is described as extremely critical and his family is at his side all the time,” said a statement from Sheba hospital near Tel Aviv where he is being treated.

Sharon has been in a coma since January 4, 2006 after suffering a massive stroke, but his condition took a sudden turn for the worse on January 1 when he suffered serious kidney problems after surgery.

Sharon’s death is of interest to mystics in Israel as well as prophecy buffs around the world because of the prediction byKaduri. Carl Gallups authored the book “The Rabbi Who Found Messiah” and inspired a movie on the subject of the same name in late 2013.

In 2007, Kaduri, the most famous rabbi in Israel’s modern history, at 108 years old, left a cryptic death note revealing the name of the long-awaited Messiah. Within a year after the rabbi’s death, the note was reported to have been verified as authentic by some of Kaduri’s closest followers and then placed on Kaduri’s own website.
