Tips for Planning a Successful Date Night with Your Spouse

What was the last movie you saw in the theatre? Has it been months or years? Was it taking your children to see the latest Disney movie? How long has it been since you and your husband have actually had a REAL dinner date? You know the kind where you actually get dressed up and go somewhere without coloring pages as place mats?  Do you feel like you are out of touch with your significant other, like ships passing in the wind?

If you can relate to any of these scenarios, then the ideas I share in this video and the tips below are for YOU.

Intentional moments are those special times we choose to focus on and cherish our loved ones by spending time with them doing things we love. In order for our lives to reflect the things that are truly important to us, we need to be purposeful about planning for those special occasions to happen. Yes, it needs to be a priority and a regular occurrence that you, your spouse and your children look forward to.

Here are 3 things you can do TODAY to make time for your significant other.

Deliberately creating intentional moments for your family may seem like a lot to do, but the more you take the initiative to get it done, the easier it becomes in the future.  Nothing says “I love you” more than the thought and planning that goes into a special event. Everyone loves to see that you care about them and creating those special times is one way to do just that!

Don’t forget, it does not need to be perfect, expensive or extravagant, it just needs to happen! Make the commitment and plan those special quality family moments for those you love on a regular basis. You will all be blessed for it, I promise.  :)
